Two luxury lodges nestled in a secluded spot on the shore of Loch Sunart
Each lodge has been designed for convenience and comfort and finished to a high standard throughout to ensure your stay has all the home comforts, plus a few extra special touches.
One of the special touches is the spacious decked veranda where you can relax with a dram in hand, listening to the waves lapping against your private shoreline. Sit and watch the world go by, which in this rural location, consists mostly of local wildlife. Red deer regularly visit at sunrise and sunset to graze near the lodge and it’s not uncommon to spot other nocturnal animals from the veranda around sunset, too.
The lodges are surrounded by 10 acres of breath-taking grounds that you’re free to explore. Not sure where to start? We’d highly recommend a stroll along your own private Loch Sunart shoreline.
Inside, the lodges are decorated in warm red and natural colours, with local art accenting the rooms and chunky hardwood furniture adding plenty of rustic charm. You’ll feel cosy curled up on the sofa in front of the pellet-burner of an evening and revitalised when the sun streams in through the large windows in the morning.
Downstairs is open plan, with a modern fitted kitchen equipped with everything you need for a self catering break; a spacious living area that boasts magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and plenty of room for both a lounge and a dining area, a porch to store coats and boots, a small WC and the first of three bedrooms. This downstairs bedroom has twin beds and it’s own en-suite bathroom.
Upstairs there is a large gallery landing with a seating area that can be used as a second living room or snug, and two further large king size bedrooms, both with their own en-suite bathrooms.

Feedback from guests who have stayed with us
Many thanks once again for a fantastic break in beautiful Birch Lodge; it's been wonderful.

My welcome to Shoreline Lodges included an impromptu kayak on the loch with Dan which was a wonderful introduction. The lodges are beautifully designed and equipped; in an amazing setting. Looking at the incredible starry night sky, watching an otter fishing right in front of the lodge plus feeding the red deer and the pine martens were all highlights. Ideally placed for exploring the stunning natural beauty of the peninsula and its wild special beaches with views to the Small Isles. Also only an hours drive to the sea kayaking mecca of Arisaig skerries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What an amazing location, well equipped and a spacious home. It was even more lovely than I thought it would be. We even got to see the pine marten and tried to catch a fish, only caught a beautiful sunset. Will definitely recommend to our friends.

Fabulous place to stay, comfortable and clean. Quiet and scenic just perfect to unwind so much so that we have already booked again. The icing on the cake ... pinemartins and red deer arriving each evening for their supper. Wow, what a privilege.

Dan has two huge top quality lodges right on a scenic private beach in a remote and lovely part of Scotland. We had a fantastic week - wildlife, boat trips, nice local restaurants and good hiking.

We’ve had a lovely stay here – this is probably the best holiday house we’ve ever had! We have thoroughly enjoyed watching the antics of the mouse and vole residents in the garden, as well as the birds. Best of all, the pine marten did show up for a bread-and-peanut-butter snack, which was amazing and such a privilege.
