About the cottages

Where do we collect the keys to our cottage from?

We will welcome you to the cottages when you arrive and will hand you the keys in person, after we have shown you around.

How do we find the cottage?

It can be tricky to find your way to the cottages if you’re new to the area, but don’t worry. Just follow our recommended route with its 5 simple steps that will guide you to the door.

How many people can sleep in a cottage?

The cottages each have 2 king-size double rooms and 1 twin room, sleeping 6 people. An additional cot is also available on request.

Does the accommodation come with tea/coffee making facilities?

Yes, the cottages are fully equipped with kettles and there will be an initial supply of tea, coffee and other basic essentials on your arrival.

Is the accommodation suitable for children and babies?

Yes, a cot and linen can be provided on request and there is a twin room that’s perfect for younger members of the family.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, the cottages have Wi-Fi and it is free for guests to use it.

Do you allow smoking in the cottages?

We operate a strictly no smoking policy in the cottages.

Are there recycling/refuse facilities?

We ask that you help us by recycling your paper, card and tin into the Blue wheelie bin provided and your glass into the small green tray provided. All other refuse goes in the Green wheelie bin. There are recycling facilities in Acharacle and Strontian.

Is linen supplied?

Yes, all linen and towels are provided.

Do I need to clean the cottage before I leave?

Considerable care has been taken to ensure that you enjoy your holiday in comfortable and clean surroundings and we would expect the cottages to be left in the same condition as you find them. It is with regret that we must insist that all breakages and damage have to be paid for.
